Share your opinion on Swagbucks and win free gift cards. Swagbucks is an online survey program where people can answer surveys and earn points.
You can then redeem your points for gift cards(for retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks, Sephora). Apart from doing surveys, you can also earn points by shopping online and watching videos.
Join Swagbucks (Sign up is free and easy!)
2. Listen to Motivational Music:
Not only motivational music, any kind of music that charges you up. Listening to some music every day for 5 minutes in the morning would help you to focus more on your work and you would bring better results. Music helps me to get over bad moments in my everyday life.
Share your playlist with your friends! It is indeed very difficult to find people who have the same taste in music. And if you have one, you are lucky enough!
3. Eat Out in Restaurant:
Eating out with friends is an easy way to kill boredom.
Even if you are a fitness freak and on a strict diet, having a cheat day in a month is not bad! Having dominos pizza or having a KFC chicken once a month is one of my favorite ways to cheat on my diet. However, you can try some tasty dishes from Groupon without having to pay the full price. In Groupon, you can find various offers on food items.
4. Learn new skills:
When was the last time you went to the tuition together?! It doesn’t matter if you are a high school student or a college graduate, learning together could be fun!
Take online courses. Even if your school/university education has an end, learning is never-ending. When you are busy with your 9 to 5 jobs or other activities, the world is constantly growing and developing new things. If you have a hobby or interest in any field, take some online courses in those specific subjects. The return on investment is always high.
You can find various courses on Linkedin Learning. Watch their online courses to upgrade your skills and knowledge. You will get access to 16,000+ courses and earn a certificate when you complete a course. You will get a 30-day free trial through my link.
5. Try A New Recipe:
Learn some new recipes and cook the food you have always loved. Feeding our friends and families gives us an immense sense of joy. After all, it is the small things that make our life better. My friend and I recently tried Creamy Mushroom Chicken and it tastes amazing!
6. Become roommates and decorate each other’s room:
Decorating your own home is one of the best fun things to do on weekend. Home is where we find peace and decorating your room gives a very relaxable vibe in your own space. This removable acrylic mirror and wood flower vase are some of my favorites for the living room.
7. Work out together:
Staying fit is the key to happiness. Dedicate at least 10 minutes to Yoga every day. Doing Yoga at least once a day even for 5 minutes keeps you healthy and away from sickness. Good health is a blessing and is very important for good living.
8. Watch Movies:
Watching films together with your family or friends is something I would recommend you to do once a week. Sometimes a movie teaches you much more than your college or school syllabus. Movies, in fact, teach you real-life lessons.
Two of the best apps to watch movies are Hulu and Netflix. Both of them have a 30-day free trial. You can cancel your membership at any time without any questions being asked. It is one of the best fun things to do with friends.
9. Host a party:
You can host a small party at your house during the weekends. What is better than spending time with your closest friends? Dancing to the beats of the music with friends plus some food and drinks together would make a memorable evening.
Want to host a party without fully emptying your wallet? I recommend you to use these FREE cash back money-saving apps to buy groceries and foods for meal preparation:
Ibotta(FREE $20 bonus):
Ibotta is a money-saving app that gives you cash back when you shop with the app. You can also get its browser extension. Ibotta has paid out over $797 million in cash rewards to its users. They have partnered with more than 1500 brands and retailers. You could also earn up to $20 in a welcome bonus when you sign up for the first time.
Checkout 51:
Similar to Ibotta, Checkout 51 is an app that gives you cash back for purchasing groceries. Every Thursday, they update their list of cashback items and when you make a purchase and upload the receipt, you get the cashback. They will approve it within a few days and you will get your cashback. Once you reach $20, you can request for payout.
Sign up on Checkout 51 and start saving money.
I really hope that these money-saving apps will help you to host a party without being broke.
10. Read a Book:
Keep your phone aside for a while and read any book you love. You can borrow one from your nearby library or can download an Ebook.
Rich Dad Poor Dad (by Rober T. Kiyosaki) is one of my personal favorites. If you are interested in personal finance, you won’t regret this purchase.
11. Bake Something:
Indulge in some homemade cookies, muffins or cupcakes.
Last weekend I made some chocolate chip cookies with almonds. Yummy it was! My friends loved it.

You can speak on any topic you like. If you can market your podcast well, people will listen more to you and you will end up building your own identity. You can also make money from your podcast by doing affiliate marketing or by selling your own products.
14. Throw A ReUnion Party:
Reunion parties are one of the best parties of all time. Meeting your school or college mates after long years makes us happier than ever.
15. Go Out On A Foreign Trip:

16. Start a Blog:
A group of friends had started an Instagram page where they post about restaurants and food. Today they have over 12,000 followers on Instagram.
Similarly, you can start a blog with your friends.
Starting a blog shall help you to make money. Blogging gives us the freedom of expressing ourselves through writing. It feels even better when people come to your blog directly from the search engine and interact with you through your blog posts.
The best part is you can make money from your blog. You can make a little side income or even more than your full-time job. Adam Enfroy started his blog and makes more than $60,000 per month from his blog.
